Description 3M™ SILVERCEL™ 3M CODE: CAD7011 3M™ Silvercel™ Non-Adherent Antimicrobial Dressing with Silver 11x11 cm - box of 10 3M™ Silvercel™ dressing is a sterile, non-woven pad composed of alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), and silver-coated nylon fibers that help maintain a moist wound environment. The excellent fluid absorption ability and lasting antimicrobial activity make this dressing ideal for chronic wounds with moderate to high levels of exudate, such as pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, neuropathic (diabetic) ulcers, donor sites, post-operative wounds, and trauma wounds. The antimicrobial effect is secured by a sustained release of silver ions, which can last up to 7 days. This dressing acts against a broad spectrum of germs that are pathogenic to the wound, including MRSA, MRSE, and VRE. Easylift™ Technology Easylift™ Precision Film Technology is built into the non-adherent wound contact layer. It enables pain-free removal and provides effective protection of newly-formed tissue while minimizing fiber detachment.
